Work with the product management team in multiple squads to translate user needs and business requirements into a high quality design solution that drives great outcome and impact.
Collaborate with the research team in order to better understand our users and business needs.
Gather necessary data and contextual information with the most appropriate methods to identify problems or to inform the design decisions.
Come up with creative solutions for the intended problems based on the premises from user research insights, business requirements, technical constraints, etc.
Create and craft a high quality UI design which is highly usable and with delightful visuals and interactions.
Gather necessary feedback from the users and stakeholders in order to narrow down the design solution alternatives and inform the design decision.
Build relationships with the product management, business, and engineering teams in order to better influence the design direction.
Manage and grow the design system through evaluating & improving the components.
Ensure proper design documentations are created for each design project to store and easily share context.
Mentor a group of more junior designers to help them grow their career and help ensure the design qualities across the products in Moladin.
4 – 5 years of experience in the Product Design industry, especially digital products.
A portfolio that showcases interaction and user interface design craft (and its application of interaction design principles and human-centered design methodology), as well as evidence of performing in a multidisciplinary design, business, and tech team.
Ability to understand the identified problem and to dissect it down to the root cause, in order to understand the appropriate solutions.
Ability to draw insights from both qualitative & quantitative data, and further identify opportunity areas to work on.
Proficiency in product design with extensive and demonstrated expertise in visual hierarchy, interaction design, layout, and information architecture.
Independence to navigate the end-to-end design process, from defining the design intent and problem scoping, exploring the alternatives of solutions, gathering necessary feedback for the proposed solution, handover to the development team, and tracking the performance of the design.
Experience in managing expectations of high level internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to form consensus across a broad,fast-moving organization through excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including: negotiation, constructive feedback, presentation, managing expectations, and resolving conflicts).
Experience in managing a team will be a plus point.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian.
