Working closely with Product Manager Lead, Business Development Team, and Technical Program Manager to ensure department’s product initiatives can be achieved.
Report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and ensure the delivery of Tribe level OKR and Engineering scorecards.
Contribute to the day-to-day engineering excellence and solve production issues according to the given SLA.
Applying engineering best practices to the team and setting a high bar standardization in order to improve existing systems.
Responsible to groom engineers by having: regular sharing sessions, creating learning modules, and contributing to the new engineering onboarding process.
Actively contribute to the hiring process: Participate in interview sessions and create interview questions.
Propose ideas and contribute to engineering initiatives as part of the effort to improve the system performance, quality, and availability.
Create an RFC of complex initiatives and be responsible for the execution deliverables.
More than 5 years of experience in software development industry.
Have at least 2-year experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead that works closely with DevOps or Engineering specific products.
Have at least 3-year experience working with Agile methodologies (i.e: Scrum & Kanban) and excel in Project Management tools such as JIRA.
Have good experience working with team OKR, and performing capacity planning.
Generalists who have specific expertise either on Backend, Android, Front-end, QA, SDET or DevOps.
Cloud Infrastructure: Expert with one or several cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure services and technologies.
Excel with one of those programming languages: Node JS, Go, or JAVA.
Big or Unicorn startup background is a preferred.
Experienced in handling highly available systems with high throughput transactional environments.
